How Does The Procedure Work?

Due to advancements in laser technology, tattoo removal is legitimately made possible. It works by using Pico laser that penetrates the skin with a Picosecond intense energy which then causes the skin to break up the ink particles. Due to the particles breaking apart, they then become smaller and the immune system removes the pigments over time. Laser tattoo removal is a safe method and does not target any of the surrounding skin that is not inked. The number of treatments you will need will depend on the age, color(s) and size of your tattoo. The technique also used for removal of the tattoo will change based on the color of your skin and how deep the pigment goes.

What to Expect from a Tattoo Removal Procedure

Once you’ve received your laser tattoo removal service, you may notice your skin looking a bit frosted. The treated area may also appear red with mild swelling, but it should subside within a few hours. Small blisters or pinpoint bleeding may also occur, but can all be treated with an antibiotic ointment. It’s also important to remember not to pick at or irritate the skin.
